Significantly Reduced Water Absorption

The water absorption rate has been significantly reduced compared to our conventional products by introducing a seam adhesive manufacturing method that prevents water from seeping through the gaps between the panels.
The weight changes little even in the rain, supporting more comfortable play.

New Yarn-winding Tube and Panel Structure

We have adopted a unique manufacturing method using high-twist yarn for the yarn winding. This is more elastic and softer than our previous products, which reduces the burden on players. A fabric layer has been added to the panel covering the yarn-winding tube to achieve a kicking feel that conveys impact more directly.

Evolved Surface Texture

To improve grip, the embossed shape of the surface has been redesigned.
The embossed shape with fine grains on the concave surface provides friction in all directions, making the surface skin less slippery during throw-in.

Design

The new design uses a wing motif to express the player's leap forward (progress and growth).
The pattern of “Yagasuri” has an ancient Japanese meaning of “getting rid of misfortune and shooting through happiness” and “flying straight ahead. It reflects the image of a player who is pushing forward toward the top of the world.
The name ALMUNDO, coined from the Spanish word “Al Mundo,” meaning “To the World,” expresses MIKASA's vision of “going global together” with people who love football.
