Design

The new design uses a wing motif to express the player’s leap forward (progress and growth). The pattern of “Yagasuri” has an ancient Japanese meaning of “getting rid of misfortune and shooting through happiness” and “flying straight ahead. It reflects the image of a player who is pushing forward toward the top of the world. The name ALMUNDO, coined from the Spanish word “Al Mundo,” meaning “To the World,” expresses MIKASA’s vision of “going global together” with people who love soccer. MIKASA will continue to support high school soccer players nationwide with the idea of “To the World Together” in mind.
