Durability on VLS300

The MIKASA VLS300 is made of an exclusive, water resistant, micro fiber material which provides that ‘broken in’ softness desired immediately paralleled with the durability and strength required by the world’s best athletes. This ball also offers an authentic MIKASA interlocking stitch technology known as “TwinSTLock” which basically resists the seams from expanding as a traditional machine or hand stitching allows. This innovative technology maintains the true roundness shape of the ball keeping in the highest international standards set forth by the FIVB.

Soft Touch of VLS300

The MIKASA VLS300 has a very nice soft, supple cover material which provides a soft touch. Providing a soft touch ball is extremely important when receiving it and directing it to the setter. Additionally the softer surface of the VLS300 removes the sting often associated with the sport of beach volleyball and allows for a more enjoyable experience from all levels of play.

High Water Resistance of VLS300

Through innovative material development and unmatched stitching capabilities the MIKASA VLS300 offers a near water proof game ball. This is extremely important as many materials absorb water creating a heavier ball which causes for an erratic flight patterns, inconsistent setting passes and is associated with the increase of severe shoulder injuries.

To bring out the maximum usability by all the referees worldwide, To bring out the best refereeing performance in every critical moment in each game, Make the best call with Mikasa whistles!!

A Whistle is -“the Life”- for a Referee

For referees, it is hard to change the most important tool for a referee the whistle. I used a different model for the last 15 years other than Mikasa. Mikasa’s mouth piece is a much better fit for me. The whistle I used before was okay for a small crowd of 5,000 to 6,000 spectators, but not for more than that, because the sound volume could not go large enough.

With the first touch of the Mikasa BEATMASTER

When I first held the Mikasa BEATMASTER model, I was impressed with how light weight it was and how easy it was to blow. If I blow a short pitched beep, the sound is great. The more I blow the more I feel how really light weight the whistle is.

What drives you to be a water polo player?

I love water polo. I made my mind up to go to the Olympics with water polo when I was 10 years old and I told my father. Since then I have been working very hard for the dream. It was really great to play in the Olympics in London last year. Tamas Kasas from Hungary is a player that I look up to.

How do you like W6000W?

Water polo ball is like my life. W6000W is my favorite ball among all other water polo balls. I grew up playing with Mikasa balls so I feel attached to it. We always use it in our training at USA national team. As I have played abroad too, I have played with other balls. However, I like the Mikasa ball which is used in Olympic games much better than others.
Compared with the others, W6000W has great grip so it makes it easier to throw a ball to attack and it makes the good move when it touches water. I have also played with green and blue balls but personally I prefer the current ball with yellow.
“Mikasa water polo ball is my favorite to play with. I prefer playing Mikasa balls to any other balls.”

General Feeling about BD2000 / BDC2000

It is a great ball. We play with this ball day and night. The “Double Dimple” of the BD2000/BDC2000 combines a better gripping power with a gentle touch.
Also, even if you play with the BD2000 / BDC2000 for a long period of time, the ball rebound and its performace are stable. We can use the Mikasa balls for a long time without any problems. This can be said for all the balls produced by Mikasa, but the ball quality seems to be more consistent from one ball to another.
It is important for players to know the ball when you are playing in matches, and Mikasa clearly provides consistent, great quality balls which are good for players.

The Advantage to play with BD2000 / BDC2000

Because BD2000 / BDC2000 have stable performance for a long period of time, and it has consistant quality from one ball to another, we do not much worry about the ball even though we play with it all the time.

The Best Characteristic of BD2000 / BDC2000

It is a really durable ball with a powerful grip and a great gentle touch.
It is very comfortable playing and very suitable for basketball.

The difference between BD2000 / BDC2000 and the ball the athletes used to play

We used to play with other branded balls than Mikasa before. We feel that the BD2000/ BDC2000 are easy to control when we play with the ball and the cover material fits comfortably in our hands.
