Mikasa and CBV extend their partnership

Mikasa Corporation (Headquarters: Asakita-ku, Hiroshima, President: Yuji Saeki), a leading manufacturer of sports balls with over 100 years of history, and the Brazilian Volleyball Confederation (CBV) (Headquarters: Avenida Ministro Salgado Filho, 7.000, Barra Nova, Saquarema/RJ, President: Radamés Lattari), the institution responsible for volleyball in Brazil with 70 years of history and 26 Olympic medals won, has officially announced the renewal of the partnership.

Together since 2012, Mikasa and the Brazilian Volleyball Confederation (CBV) have renewed their partnership, and the Japanese sports brand will continue as the official ball of Brazilian volleyball.

Mikasa will supply equipment for both indoor and beach volleyball competitions organized by CBV, as well as for the VivaVôlei Institute centers, which use sports as a tool for social development.

CBV president Radamés Lattari commented:

“We are very happy with the renewal of our agreement with Mikasa, which has been in place since 2012. Brazilian volleyball has by its side a globally recognized brand, providing our indoor and beach athletes with top-quality equipment for training and matches. May the journey ahead be another successful chapter in this partnership.”

Mikasa President and CEO Yuji Saeki commented:

“We, Mikasa Corporation, are truly honored to extend our valued partnership with the CBV.

This renewed collaboration presents a wonderful opportunity for us to bring our products to the passionate community in Brazil who love playing indoor and beach volleyball.

We will continue to work closely with the CBV to support and contribute to the further growth and development of volleyball in Brazil.”
