The Copenhagen Grand Slam was for the first time placed on iconic Nyhavn in Copenhagen organized by Danish Volleyball Federation. The Tournament was played 14th-16th June. Thousands citizens and tourists came from all over the country to see beach volleyball at the highest level. It was the tournament recorded the highest number of visitors at all time in the history of beach volleyball tournament in Denmark.Among the 16 registered elite teams, Mikasa’s local distributor A-Sport sponsored 3 best teams in the men’s tournament, and all of them were placed 1th, 2th and 3th, consecutively. The Asian Volleyball Confederation （AVC） and Mikasa Corporation have entered a new contract to make Mikasa's indoor and beach volleyballs the Official Game Balls of all the AVC tournaments for 2020 through 2023. The contract was signed by Dr. Saleh Bin Nasser, President of the AVC and Mr. Yuji Saeki, President of Mikasa Corporation on June 12, 2019 at Bangkok, Thailand.Mikasa Corporation is exceedingly honored with the contract and wishes to continue to become a partner of the AVC to promote the growth of the sport of volleyball all over the Asia, giving all the people right products for the sport of volleyball.

The extraordinary 2017 Cucine Lube Civitanova culminates with the victory of the Italian Championship. On Sunday the Italian star-studded team defeated Trentino Volley 3-1 to give themselves an unassailable 3-0 (they won 3-0 and 3-2 the other clashes) in the best of five series.For Cucine Lube Civitanova is the fourth national title. The previous were in 2006, 2012, 2014. Lube’managers and players defined it as the most beautiful because this is the first home win for Lube in a championship game, the 18th consecutive win at Eurosuole Forum in this season ( 100% of wins). For the fourth time Lube made the double, two trophies in the same season.
